In July 2019, The Phoenix Choir of Wales performed their annual Music Concert at the Taliesin Theatre in Swansea. Our guests were The J Birds and Jonathan Lycett. This video is a slideshow of images from the event, including a number of our invited VIPs.

On St David's Day 2016, The Pheonix were invited to perform at Swansea's Grand Theatre with the legendary Welsh artist, Mike Doyle. As well as performing our own items during the programme, we joined with Mike to sing a few songs at the end of the show. Thanks must also go to the musicians in Mike's band who kindly agreed to accompany us!

The legendary West End star Ria Jones performed her show "Home for Christmas" at Swansea's Grand Theatre in 2015. The Phoenix were invited to join Ria on stage to perform some traditional Christmas pieces as well as sing with Ria as she performed "The Journey Home".

As part of mental health charity Hafal's All Together Now event, the Phoenix performed Gwahoddiad in Swansea's Castle Square.

The Phoenix Choir of Wales were approached by BBC's One Show Team to help presenter Richard Mainwaring broadcast an item on the history of the football chant. As many of the choir's members are ardent fans of Swansea City Football Club, we didn't hesitate in taking the opportunity to help him out! This video is the result (note that it does contain the original time code prior to the item's broadcast).

When the X Factor auditions came to Wales, The Phoenix Choir of Wales were requested to perform for the arrival of the judges at the Cardif International Arena (now the Motorpoint Centre). Here's a taster of what happened!

The Phoenix combined forces with Only Women Aloud to perform Swansea Football Chants (arranged by Edward-Rhys Harry) at the Waterfront Museum, Swansea. The choirs were led by the choir's former Music Director Sian Pearce and accompanied by the current Music Director, John Mills
